Wall Mounted Equipment

I had a question about the h and z values when using ASCE 7 Eq 13.3-1 for wall mounted equipment. I'm used to seeing this equation for floor mounted equipment, essentially on a pad. Usually here h is the height of the equipment and z is 0. Would any of the values I have in the attached picture be the proper value for h and z?

h is the height of the roof of the overall building. Z is the height of the component anchorage. Both values should be measured from the same reference level (ground)

Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. The following sketch explains 0.4SDS(1 + 2 z/h)
