Hello, I am new to the forums and am running NX 4.0.4.2 - I was looking for some sweet looking desktop wallpaper that featured the UGS NX logo and can't find anything. UGS used to have some but they pulled it since Siemens took over. Anyone have anything cool?

Thanks in advance. I look forward to working with all of you in the future.

For historic value if nothing else I thought you might like this one that I uploaded.
I got this of the UG website sometime in the mid 90's I think. John may know the history, but I believe it to be one of the earliest examples of photo realistic images that UG was capable of. The file has a 1997 date on it on my system so some time before that would be accurate.

Happy New Year

Thanks for posting those Hudson and Dave. It is exactly the type of thing I was looking for.

That image of the Benetton Formula 1 car was 'January' of the 1996 Unigraphics Calendar. Note that the first Unigraphics Calendar was published for the year 1995 (without bragging too much, the calendars were originally my idea as way of promoting the capabilities of the newly introduced UG Photo module for which I was the Product Manager).

BTW, if you're interested in what the content was of some of the eariler calendars, go to:

Do you still do calenders? Companies that I do less than $100 a year with send me one. I think Siemens could send one to those paying maintenance fees. Plus they are cool...no pictures of hot air balloons or stupid cartoons.

Hopefully they do one for 2009, because I've already started on an image.

Everything should be designed as simple as possible, but not simpler.
