I get the following Warning message:

1. The default panel group does not exist in the default XML file. Using first panel group in file as default

2. The default hold-down series does not exist in the default XML file. Using first panel group in file as default.

What do these mean?

Thanks

The original release of RISA-3D version 8.0 shipped with an incorrect "default" setting for some of the wood wall nailing schedule data.

That message is just informing you of that fact. The way to fix this is to do one of the two following things:

1) Update to 8.0.3 (which will seek out and destroy any DEF files for wood panels that have erroneous data in them).

2) Go into the Design Rules - Wood Wall Fasteners and set these values to something that makes sense to you and use the Save As Defaults option to override the bade settings that the program keeps attempting to load at start-up.

My strong preference is to use option #1 as this should always fix the problem. However, option #2 can work, it just might require a few more steps depending on what default files are messed up.
