Warning: New nodes or elements have been added to the mesh in instance [xxx] ' but are not included in any assembly sets or surface

Hello. I have a complex, modular assembly of instances. After setting it up, I needed to partition the instances further. I did it, and, once in the assembly module, I got the message "Warning: New nodes or elements have been added to the mesh in instance [xxx] ' but are not included in any assembly sets or surfaces"
As a consequence, all the sets of wires which I created to connect the instances are no longer valid.

Is there a turnaround, please? Maybe a way to reassign the number to each vertex so that the end points match the original ones? I am not familiar with coding in Abaqus, but anything that is not making it all over again would be highly appreciated

So you are working with independent instances, not with instances of models in CAE ? Would it be problematic to redefine the sets or create them at a different level ?

Thanks, FEA way for the query.

I am working with dependent instances.
However, when I partition the part, all the wires created between endpoints of different instances of the same part and other parts are lost. They are many (> 1000). Unfortunately, it is my first significant FEA model and I used no coding!

Python scripting becomes really useful in the case of such large models. You don't have to start from scratch, the easiest way is to do something in Abaqus/CAE and check the .rpy file (or record a macro) for the generated Python commands. Then you just have to modify the script for your needs (e.g. add some loop). Proper set naming makes it easier to work with scripts.
