Are there any free programs on the internet to aid in the design and the selection of wastwater pumps.

Go to the Fairbanks Morse site and try out H2Optimize. It allows you to look through any of the Pentair owned pumps (FM, Hydromatic, Aurora).


Also, Patterson Pumps offers a similar program integrated to their website.


Good luck. I'm sure you know, but if these don't fit the bill, there are several commercial products as well.
 
ITT Flygt, ABS and Grundfos all have selection software for their submersible wastewater pumps.
