Does anyone know of a particle counter that can be used to measure contamination in Water Glycol and perhaps print out an ISO contamination code (4/6/14)?

Another source maybe Art Instrument Co. Grant Pass, OR. I believe they make a number of different liquid particle counters.

Hope this helps.

Just attended an oil analysis conference where I specifically asked for a particle counter that could evaluate water glycol hydraulic fluids. I appropached every maker present, Parker, Pall, Arti and Starline. Pacific Scientific (Hyac) indicated that their inline unit (PM 4000?)should be able to provide accurate results in several formats (ISO, NAS) continuously. They promised me that they will agree to a return-refund if the unit doesn't work, and it costs about $1,000.00. Pretty good I think for such a big company. It will be about 45 days before I actually put one to work so you may want to confirm this with them at Craig Gustafson was the guy I visited with. Good Luck
