Hi everyone!

I'm looking for some info/specs about the importance of water quality in continous casting processes.

I'll appreciate some reading recommendations (papers, standards, etc.)

The water for mold cooling? I has to be good enough so that you have clean piping so that flow is reliable, and the biggest one is to prevent scale formation on the hot molds.
It isn't super critical but controlling the pH, TDS, are scaling potential the keys.

Yes, I'm talking about water for mold cooling and that's why I wanted to read about the impact of those parameters (that you mentioned) have in the performance of the cooling process.
