Hello,

I have a question on ozone graywater/carwash/laundry applications for reuse.
Do you have any experience with this?
I use aeration combined with UF systems or MBR systems for grey water treatment applications.
I think ozone recycle system will reduce both capital and operation costs.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of this technology?
What kind of pre-treatment do ozone systems require?

Thank you in advance.

Not sure what you are trying to do.

If you filter the wastewater, you may be able to recycle. You can decrease the amount of water used if you cascade the water from the rinse end of the car wash where clean water is necessary, backwards to the beginning of the car wash.

Salts will eventually buildup in the water which will be the limiting factor in reuse.

Attempting to remove the dissolved soaps using advanced wastewater treatment methods like MBBR will most likely be prohibitively expensive.

Don't see anything unique in the literature.

States that RO is used to make spot free rinse water. Common technique.

States that aeration and/or ozone are used to disinfect and remove odors from the process waters. Also common.

This stuff is just a sales pitch, there is nothing special.
