We've been sending our water soluble sulphate testing to another lab to be analyzed, but would like to start doing this in-house. Could someone point me in the right direction? Appropriate specifications or various testing methods would be very useful as well as personal testing preferences? Thank you!

How about silver-nitrate tritration and other handy methods used by mud-engineers in oil rigs? They do such analyses on a daily base with minimum equipment contained within those prefab rig-units.

Thanks Mccoy. I know of several drilling mud guys up where I live who may be able to help. Thanks for the tip. Kind of a tangent, but did you ever get that spreadsheet from Elastic settlements (Fox equations) from Focht3? I'm wondering if I could get a copy? Thanks.
