Having trouble working out how to supply water to a platform that is raised and lowered vertically to 350 meters. Thinking of using a self supporting flexible hose reeled off a drum. Do you know what companies can supply such a hose - or can you suggest another method?

Thanks

PS The required flow is 1 litre per second and greater than 5 bar pressure.

The 5 bar is not a problem. The flow is not a problem. The 350 meters of static head is a problem; that adds another ~32 bar.

Could you just put the entire water supply on the platform and pressurize it with 5 bar air to get the pressure and flow?

Uh, self supporting flexible hose? Hose rated for that kind of pressure tends to be very stiff, but it isn't very good at staying straight when you want it to. Maybe if laced into a a Kabelschlepp, you could push it up 35 meters on a calm day..

You could convert the water to steam, and condense it on the platform...
