Water to the evaporation pond

I plan to discharge produced water to evaporation pond but want to get information from anyone who can advise me that how much hydrocarbon and H2S content should be in the produced water before delivery to the pond.

I would very appreciate also if anyone can share me the problem of the pond and precaution I should take
