Wave Spring Parametric Equations 1

I'm looking for parametric Equations that can be used to model wave spring in NX.

I tried to understand characters and with a little clean up found this:

but by changing the Number Of Waves curve correct shape will fail.

there is a Logical Relation Between the Number Of Waves and the Multiplying Number 0.75
I didn't find it.

I suspect that it will work if .75 is replaced with a larger number. The waves may be interfering and a number slightly greater than 1.0 will allow that interference to be more obvious.

Nope. That's not it. The .75 in that equation just alters the period of the wave, just like number of waves and number of turns does.

The key is to remove the .75 and change the term "number of waves" to have 0.5 as a suffix = 4.5 reproduces the original behavior. This places the crests and troughs so they touch. 6.5, 3.5, etc. work as well. 6*.75 = 4.5

also, I changed equations so now your definition is based on waves number.
simply the number you explained is always = [highlight #8AE234]Number of Waves - 1.5[/highlight]
I named it: Waves_Coefficient
