Can anyone suggest a suitable Weibull B parameter to use to model the wearout as a result of a single aging electrolytic capacitor in a consumer electronic product deployed in an indoor household environment.

If possible, try to locate actual test data from reliability tests to failure of similar components. If that is impossible, start with B = 1.5. In my work, betas in the range of 1.4 to 2 are common.
