weight feature

I am on NX6, and use master model.
The weights on our drawings need to be kept updated, as they are castings, but I have noticed that in a few cases the weight feature has lost its associativity when only minor changes were made to the body - I really don't understand why that happened to the weight feature.
Is there a chance this is due to partial loading?
