Is what I ask so complicated? I only want to simulate the weight of an object placed on a table. What type of load is it necessary to use?

Thank you very much. Regards and merry christmas.

I'd think that a lumped mass with gravity applied should work well for this...no?

hi:
You should do a static analysis with a load of gravity. Before solution,be sure that you have input the density of the material.
Good luck!

If there are no frequency or other dynamic considerations for which you really need mass, then I'd just model the table and apply forces.

Thank you danrail for your answer.
I want to measure the spectrum of the vibration of a machine. Later I want to place antivibratory elements (like rubber) to isolate of the support using Ansys. In fact, the system is made of two bracket support (like are used in air conditioning), one shelf and a vibrating motor. My intention is to do the study physically and later to simulate it with Ansys. For this reason, the frequency and dynamic considerations influence in the system.
