Weight of sludge to gallons

We have a project that we’re hbing to haul sludge to a landfill. Unfortunately, the landfill bills in tons. Which is fine, however we bill our clients in gallons. Is there a formula to convert tons to gallons?
Say for example, 64.94 tons.

Assume 8.34 lbs per gallon. 64.94 tons x 2000 lbs/ton = 129,880 lbs. 129,880 lbs/ 8.34 lbs/gal = 15,573 gallons.
Example: 1,000 gallons of 2% total solids was hauled.
1,000 gallons of biosolids x 8.34 lb/gal x 0.02 total solids x ton/2000 lb =
1,000 gallons x 8.34 lb/gal = 8,340 lbs
2% of 8,340 lbs = .02 x 8,340 = 166.8 lbs
166.8 lbs/2000 lbs (ton) = 0.0834 dry tons hauled

If you do not have biosolids analyses results, then you may estimate the percent total solids. Generally, liquid is approximately 1.5 - 2% total solids and dewatered “cake’ is approximately 15 - 20% total solids.
