Hi, my friend is having some problems when rendering 3D models as anything other than static wireframes. Looks like this:
Rendering a simple cube for example works just fine, but as soon as there is anything that breaks up the faces this happens. However, I think that this is probably due to graphics card (or possibly OpenGL/D3D, whichever NX is using)drivers rather than some faulty setting in NX itself, however, I'd like to hear if anyone has any suggestions...

Computer is a laptop with an integrated Intel GMA 4500M card running Windows 7 64-bit. Drivers are up to date.

Have tried re-installing NX, clearing settings from AppData, reinstalling gfx drivers... Going to try and run some other 3D application and see if the problem is specific to NX or not.

Do't think that an integrated Graphic card is certified for Siemens NX

You have to check here:

If it is I do't think there's much help available.
Does this Graphic Card supports Open GL?

Alright. Guess there is no hope then...

Yes, the card does support OGL, tried running the old Quake3Arena demo which ran flawlessly.

Thanks for the reply. :)

Maybe give it it try be changing the Graphic Perfomance.

Go to:
Preferences -> Visualisation Performance

And play abit around with Fixed Frames and a bit more, and see if it improves...

You can also do an Evaluate Graphic Performance, it is in the same SScreen, but under the Tab General Graphics

You may also want to reset your view extents by going to...

View -> Camera -> Capture and Edit...

...and going to the section of the dialog labeled 'Clipping' and hit the 'Fit Planes to Extents' button.

Also, you may wish to go to...

Preferences -> Visualization Performance -> General Graphics

...and at the bottom of the dialog section titled 'Session Settings' you will find an 'Evaluate Graphics Performance' button. Select that and the system will perform a series of test and will give you report as to the best NX display settings/options to get the maximum performance from your particular graphics card/driver combination.
