Weld Assistant "Fill"

Hi,

I have been testing "Fill" command in Weld Assistant and I thought it looked just right to use for coatings etc. But as far as I can see the only possibility is to extrude in one single direction, and this made me confused when using on car body... They are not flat... How is this ment to work? Anyone using "fill"? Is there anyway to extrude at surface normal direction? Any thoughts about this? Thanks
