Could anybody guide me that, can i weld Name plate Bkt made from std. "[" Channel on Dish Head after remove from shell due to customer reqest without RE-PWHT on newly constructed Veseel (ASME viii - Div.1).
I already PWHT whole vessel.
My vessel thk. is 1-7/8".

depends.

ucs-56 has pwht rules.

If the vessel has not been pwht for a special service, but rather for code thickness rules, you can weld this on after pwht as long as you do the following:
A. have user approval
B. have ai approval
C. write a procedure for welding after pwht to follow ucs-56

this is standard fabrication rules. Read the code please
