Weld overlay in COMPRESS

Good Day,
I am working on a vessel with weld overlay on the nozzles. I have doubts on how to model the weld overlay on COMPRESS. It is ok if I only add a lining on the menu "ATTACH" or I just should ignore the weld overlay and use CA=0? Which is the most accurate way to model a weld overlay on COMPRESS?
