Weld reinforcement of Weld metal deposited thickness for PQR as per ASME Sec IX

Hi Experts,

Can we consider weld reinforcement thickness while specifying the weld metal thickness deposited for fusion welding process in PQR as per ASME Sec IX. Assuming only one process is used for qualification. I could not find a clause in ASME Sec IX for not to consider the thickness of weld reinforcement unlike welder qualification. For welder qualification, yes it is explicitly mentioned in the code.

Do we have any asme interpretation for the same subject to have more clarity on it.

No, you cannot use weld reinforcement. Weld reinforcement is defined as weld in excess of the weld size required. T of QW-451 is basemetal thickness.
