Weld Symbol - Clarification

That's a bevel weld with a cap fillet. So if you have a plate with an edge prep. on it, it gets filled with weld, then supplemented with a cap fillet. The only thing is the symbols look mirrored, and the perpendicular edge should be on the left side.

What is that applied to? It looks like a bevel weld with a fillet weld over it. Is it that the symbols are mirrored?
 
Thanks, @Stpipe & @3DDave, it's between 2 thick plates in a T-joint. I think it being mirrored was kinda confusing. Thanks for your input!
