Weld Symbols NX6

I would like to change the "stub length" on an NX6 weld symbol, but can't figure out how to do it.
When I double click on the weld symbol and enter a new number for the length, it appears to take it, but nothing happens

I've verified the behavior that you're seeing in both NX 6.0 and NX 7.0, however in NX 7.5 there is NO option to even edit the 'stub length' so I guess the solves the problem ;-)
