Hello friends
need to clarify for API 650 TANKS
my welding process as per ASME section ix and approved by AI.
on the basis of welding procedures Manufacturer can approved welder without A.I SIGNATURE.
Welder Qualification Certification do not need a sign of A.I

If your Procedure Qualification Report (PQR) is approved by an AI or is an AWS Standard Weld Procedure, and your internal quality assurance has a record of the Weld Procedure Qualification (WPQ) from the individual welder with a continuity record to back up continuous (usually monthly) monitoring, your welder is qualified to weld on the API 650 tank. The caveat to this is that the client may have more stringent requirements. Those requirements will supersede, in that case.
