welder qualified

my welder is qualified to P1 TO P1, My understanding he also qualified to do welding on P10H TO P10H.
Please advice.

Unfortunately Yes, assuming same F#. IMO it is ridiculous to think P10H will weld like P1 material.
 
Yes your welder's ticket may be valid, but duplex SS demands a lot more than just the ability to make a sound weld.
How corrosion-resistant do you want your finished P10H component to be?
I would do nothing less than qualify each of my welders with corrosion testing to ASTM A923.

Both base metal P no and Filler Metal F no are essential variables for welder.
GTAW F no being 6 for both carbon steel and duplex consumables, you may use welder qualified on P1 to weld P10H
For SMAW F no is not same for carbon steel (F no. 4) and Duplex (F no. 5). In this case you may have to run his qualification tests.
