Welding A105 Weldolet or Nipolet to GR- X65 pipe

Is it ok Welding A105 forged fittings to 5L GR-X65 pipe or should use A694 GR-F65 weldolets, nipolet, etc.

With a proper welding spec this shouldn't be an issue so long as the fitting is the correct thickness for the pressure.

Thank you LittleInch, I normally prefer to use ASTM A694 forged fittings with a grade to match that of main pipe grade at least to the first flange.

In cases where a nipple is required, I do not know if they make nipples also to Grade X65.
 
This is done quite often due to availability of sourcing small diameter F65 and Y65 forging and fittings.
