Hello Everybody:
Appreciate if anybody could help me here as I am not too proficient in welding.

(1) I have a AL6XN (P45) material to Suplex Duplex (P10H), Will it be a good to weld using filler wire Er NiCrMo-3.

(2) I have a procedure to weld P45 to P45 & my qualification range is P1 thru P11, P34 & P4X. Am I good to weld P45 to P10H

Thank you
Bret

There are two issues to resolve, the properties of the welds (should they be duplex or austenitic) and then what level of corrosion resistance do you need (I presume at least matching the two base alloys).
Some reading for you:
same paper, diff ref
and there are more out there.
The use of alloy 59 (NiCrMo-13) filler should work very well for this.

You may find some leads in API RP 582 (e.g. table A.3) and API TR 938-C (e.g. para 7.3). Especially the latter has some important details.

I would consider ERNiCr-3.

If you are using ASME Section IX, you will need a WPS for welding P-No 45 to P10H using the appropriate filler metal.

No. You are mixing up welder performance variables with procedure qualification variables.
.
I'm curious, where would I see AL6XN (P45) welded to Super Duplex (P10H)? Offshore?
