Welding ASTM A182 Flanges to ASTM A53 Gr. B Pipe 2

Anybody have welding procedures for the above flanges/pipe

A182 is a general spec for alloy steel flanges. You have to specify the grade/Alloy. For Example the flange could be Ferritic or Austenitic or Duplex etc. WPS and the supporting PQRs would generally vary when P numbers change.

There cannot be a generic WPS encompassing various alloys.

If you are interested in a prequalified procedure the you can verify AWS D 1.1. This gives various WPS. I think AWS D 1.1 and A 182 would be your starting point for you.

AWS D 1.1 is only for C steels and not austenitic or duplex ss, that is what I think you are referring to.
