welding carbon steel NACE pipe

Hi evrybody
according to the NACE MR 0175 electorde for welding carbon steel NACE shall not be with more than 1% Ni.
Can we use ER80S-Ni1 for welding NASE C.S. ?

Yes, provided that all of the requirements are met. The principal issue will be the controls in place to prevent an incorrect nickel content. If the requirements for automatic qualification are not met a test programme will be necessary for compliance.
