welding consumabe

i have to weld a A350 LF 3 material with itself by GTAW & SMAW process. can anybody suggst applicable consumables for both process.
Simillary i want to weld A350 LF3 with A182 F316L by GTAW only ,so want to know filler rod for the same.is it gas purging required for above cs to ss welding for full penetration butt joint?

For welding SA 350 LF3 to itself, follow the recommended filler metal requirements below in SA 350 for LF3;

10.3
Grade LF3 forgings the weld metal shall be
deposited using low-alloy steel electrodes E8016-C2 or
E8018-C2, complying with AWS A5.5

I would strongly suggest you read this material specificaiton.

Now, for the dissimilar metal weld, you can use either 309 filler metal or Inco Weld A. Yes, back purge is recommended for an open root butt weld for the stainless steel.
