Does anyone have any experience welding these combinations?

I was thinking ER309L but it seems like a preheat of 300F would make this filler flow way too much.

ERNiCrMo-3 would give me an unacceptable hardness, I think.

Any sugestions?

THANKS

Yes. Use Inconel 82 filler metal and follow the preheat and, if required, post weld heat treatment requirements for the base material.

No.

The P-No 7 base material will require elevated preheat and PWHT, depending on base metal thickness. You may need to butter each BM combination individually, PWHT individually, and complete the weld joint using the recommended filler metal Inconel 82.
