Welding Symbol (Corbel Design)

Hi!

Can you use welding symbols to show welding between anchor and primary bar in corbel design?
I guess ACI shows a sketch because welding shape is strange/special.

I think showing the detail and the dimensions would be important in this case, not just the symbol. Because it is a fairly unusual weld and is so critical.

I agree with gusmurr's opinion.
ACI commentary says this detail was used in the referenced experiment.
But, it was not included in its paper.
Though this detail has been used for a whole, I wonder how much it is safe.
I guess this detail needs verification test, also.
For example, this detail shows welding width, but leg seems to be missing.
Can typical flare-bevel-groove welding be used here?
