Welding symbol for surface weld which isn't used to join objects together 1

I was wondering is there a correct or a standard way to announce a surface welding which isn't used to join two pieces together (preferably ISO but ASME is okay as well). In my case the welded "seam" is used similarly as an anti-slip grating on steel bars. Example in the image:

Use would use the standard surfacing symbol but have to explain the separation between beads you want in a tail note.
 
AWS A2.4 - Surfacing Welds are depicted as a double hump under weld reference line with a dimension to the left of the symbol specifying thickness and would require a drawing view to show dimensions for the width and length needed (or cross section to show specific profile). ISO 2553 is similar, but I don't have the spec :-(

Thanks for your replies. I decided to use the double hump marking as suggested.
