Like it says in the title......I am trying to weld these two different types of steel together with a fillet weld. I don't do this often so I am unsure as to what to callout in the notes. Any ideas? Thanks.

Pretty informative read here that I just found: Link. Sounds like it's not a big deal in most situations.

Thanks Kootk. A lot of the info I have been able to find recommends using E309 electrodes to join these two metals. Am still looking.

309 would be the typical default for this.
You need enough Ni in the filler so that after dilution by the steel it will still have some ductility.
