Can someone direct me to or give me a simple explanation of the difference between wet and dry losses regarding burner combustion efficiencies? Thanks in advance for your help.

Dry loss is the loss due to the sensible heat difference of combustion air. Wet loss (or moisture loss) is the loss of heat carried by moisture in the fuel as latent heat.
