Hi All,

I think it's time for an video card update with more memory for use with ProE. I am looking at this card Sapphire Radeon X1300 - 512DDR2, V/D/T, PCIx. The price looks fine ($125.00 CDN).

I have a 20" DELL flat screen and 2.6GHz AMD Athlon, is this card compatible with ProE 2001?

Does anyone one out there have any experience or complaints with this card.

Thanks for any info you can provide

As a general rule the Radeon series are not supportted. That doesn't mean they don't work, as I have a Radeon 9800Pro that does fine.
Just remember that if you start seeing graphic problems or weird crashes, PTC won't help you.

Hi All,

I currently have a Radeon 9000 Atlantis Pro (128Megs memory). I am noticing some graphic problems, but only when I have large assemblies open. I was thinking that I need more Graphic Memory so that is why I ask about the 512 Memory card.

I have not had any crashes using the 9000 card.
