Dear Experts,

Could you share with me your tips and tricks to read schematics of 100+ pages ?
With many pages, I often get lost in between. Therefore, I would really appreciate if someone can share some strategies to handle schematics diagram.

If they are power diagrams, many of the schemes should be similar, So look at the differences. And pay attention to the one line diagrams.

I'll arrange the DC schematics, AC schematics and wiring diagrams together by some logical fashion such as feeder, transformer or bus. From there higher voltage to lower voltage. Within those groups, organized by feeder name/number, etc. Ancillary circuits grouped separate, but in a similar manner.

Depends on what your looking at, but typically I look for the 'pertinent to me' pages. Often the onelines, DC and AC schematics, cable schedules, equipment information, then often annotate the oneline with the pertinent pages.

For relays or other protective devices, typically grab the manuals and place them in the project folder for easy reference when I'm actually doing the engineering studies.

If you can upload the schematics into PDF format, you can search the cable numbers to see where they start and stop without having to follow the lines.
