Hi All,

In one of the user machine`s syslog I found this line OS Error : 80070040 : The specified network name is no longer available. The reason behind me checking the syslog was that the user was getting a message Unrecognized OS error when he does a save on part...
Is this Network related? How can we convince the IT guys to have a look at the network issues if that is the case..

Any help and suggestions are all welcome

#1 get a hold of GTAC or somebody from PLMS to find out what the error means there is also a BBS that you can get on to if you have a WEBKEY account available to all legit license holders for the asking. This sort of detail about error messages is not frequently posted on these forums, and better found via teh above.

#2 What networking systems are you running that you might be able to tell us about. Windows servers or Unix, with Samba or similar. It does sound like a networking glitch we may be able to come up with some general info around that topic if we knew more.

#3. Really Obviously...What version of NX. [upsidedown]

Best Regards

Hudson
