What does relay time multiplier in cycles mean?

Hi

I have been given a setting for a CDG51 where the time multiplier is given as 10~. I believe this is 10 cycles? Can anyone tell me what this means please as I have never come across this before.How do I translate to the conventional numerical time multiplier?

Look at them as just the names for different curve positions on a TCC. They could every well be named a,b,c d. They are not necessarily time "multipliers" but time "dials" or "delays".

You need to look at the TCCs to look up time it will take at various currents.

Veritas, if you go to the AREVA website the handbook for the CDG should be there and the function of the time multiplier explained. It's dead easy.
