what grade of stainless steel do i have here? xxx35-020

hello
i was given these big 6" diameter solid stainless steel shafts.
i cant figure out the grade on them.
they have alot of numbers on them but i cant find any info in my searches.

here are some of the numbers
2042
919400a1
xxx35-020

does anyone have an idea?

I'm sorry, but that's like saying you have some canned food that the label is missing, but there is a sticker on the top that has $1.29 on it and there is "GT2340DM4" stamped on the side. Can you tell me what is in the can?

Those numbers are most certainly a heat and/or lot identification, but without the documentation, they don't mean much. You could take a sample and have a chemical composition test run. Depending on the composition, and the product form, you might be able to run down the producer and those numbers may mean something to them, but without knowing the producer, they aren't going mean much.
