Hello Everyone,
Would someone here help me with this question:
What happens to the Viscosity of the electrolyte when the electropolishing solution ages?
Will it increase or decrease?
I am considering a mixture of Sulphuric acid, Phosphoric acid and water.
Thanks.

Hello Arun,

Thanks for the message.
I do have a few mentors at my workplace. And I gather inputs from these kinds of open forums as well as I am a beginner in Electropolishing.

So coming to my question, I did perform a set of experiments with the same solution (Sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid, water) today. And, every time I measured the Viscosity value after each test, I could not see a consistent pattern, it did exhibit a random pattern, increased after some tests, decreased after some.
So now my question is does the temperature of the solution has an impact on the viscosity?
And what is the behaviour expected if I measure the viscosity after each test waiting for the solution to cool down to room temperature?

Thanks.

@IRstuff: Thanks for the information.
