what idoes close grained cast iron mean?

is there any one who knows what close grained cast iron means?
i search a lot in google, but there is nothing, except that its used in pump casing.

Close grain cast iron typically refers to fine grain and smaller size graphite resulting in higher quality cast iron and higher strength.

a well inoculated cast iron will exhibit close grain structure, else your pan will leak.
