What is 304D ?

Dear Gurus,

I have been trying to find out what is 304D type stainless steel. We have a customer who has specifically mentioned that they do not want a 304D type SS for their part.

Can some one throw some light on this?

Probably means dual certified i.e. meeting both type 304 and 304L SS

Try this supplier. They list 304D coming from Europe.
