What is 316LNG

Hello,
I am reviewing some technical specifications which call out for 316LNG material.
As far as I know, NG stands for 'Nuclear Grade'.

I couldn't find this acronym in ASME sections II material specifications.

A colleague of mine told me that, if special requirements for 316LNG exist, these should be given by the Technical Spec. and not by any ASME Code spec.

Which are the requirements (chemical composition, mech. properties, ...) for 316LNG SS, if any?
Are they different from those of 316L SS?

IF NG stands for Nuc, then it prob means low Co material.
Which is a subject of its own.

This thread needs to be struck since it is also being dealt with in the metals forum, and over there the poster has put a space between the "L" and "NG", which colors the question differently.

Ed, your comment re: cobalt is mentioned over there.
