in this paper:
on page 65 it says fanning friction factor has to be applied to find nusselts number for the radiator coolant but it doesnt state what it is. What is this factor ? is this to do with a fan that goes on the radiator ?

Thank you.

You read 4 pages into that document and your first question is Fanning Friction Factor? Putting that phrase into a Google search will point you to a Wikipedia article that discusses it pretty well. Don't like Wikipedia? There are 34,000 other links.

While its true that there are many links to this if you google- or just try wikipedia - in shorts: Its the same as 1/4 of the Darcy friction factor - no more no less :)

Best regards, Morten
