What is a Swing Check SubSea Valve?

A Customer is asking ma a swing check subsea valve.
The thecnical specification is not really clear, all the design is referred to API 6D. Only the coating spec. is special.

Do you have experience of standard subsea check valves?
There are some special features in the design or a swing check subsea valve is like a standard swing check valve with a special painting?

Do I need some protection for the body-bonnet bolting connection and for the body-bonnet gasket?

but I work for a valve manufacturer, to that Cameron is now my fist competitor. I don't want to buy the valve but I want to design a new product!!!!
