What is effect of pressure on the green compression strength of uni-axial pressed clay samples?

Hi! I was analyzing the effect of different substances like silica, moisture on the green compression strength of uni-axial pressed clay samples. When I increased the pressure during mounting the sample its compression strength also increases. I want to know how pressure is effecting its strength, what is the relationship between them, what is the role of moisture and pressure on the properties of resulting ceramics powder and when we need higher compressive strength from clay?

This is closer to a soil mechanics question.
There will be an optimum moisture content, and like most things the strength will increase rapidly with higher pressures at first and then it begin to level off.
Part of this depends on the size of the particles and also their symmetry (or lack of it).
It also depends on if you are de-watering as you press or not.
Ferrite powders (for magnetic applications) are slurry pressed and dewatered. You might look there for info.
