what is expected yield stress, Yield stress of the material,
where I can find this value for Fy=50 ksi

The MINIIMUM yield stress is Fy. I don't believe an EXPECTED yield stress is published.

Fy is the Specified minimum yield stress

I am using 5.8-5 of AISC 385 to compute the probable maximum moment at the center of the reduced beam section.

there is a Ry is the raito of Expected yield stress to Fy
So I am looking for that Expected yield stress

Perhaps your question is alluding to the seismic provisions.

The "expected" yield stress in this case would refer to the minimum yield stress multiplied by some factor (don't know the name of it) to give an estimated actual yield stress of the material. This is done to ensure that connections will be stronger than the expected material yield stress in order to ensure ductility away from the connections.

For seismic situations also appears cases where having a higher yield stress can mean unsafe behaviour on various ways and sometimes has been specified a range of yield strength that the steel in the works must meet.

In production maybe they talk about expected yield strength, they have specific targets to meet for the class of steel they are producing, a minimum, a range, or limits, for a set or collection of codes.

Then also, when you are analyzing the strength of a number of probes, from them you can establish statistically what is believed according to the statistics is the most likely the yield strength expected for the set of structural parts represented by that set of probes. Tests of this kind are usually seen when someone wants certify or recertify the yield strength of structural steel parts the yield strength of which is subject to doubt.

Frv is right. This factor, Ry, is based on what ASTM the material is.

Expected yield stress = Ry * Fy

Are you in a situation where you need every extra bit of strength? It may be possible to get a copy of the mill certification on the steel that is purchased if good records are kept by the owner and steel vendor. This would provide the actual tested yield strength value. This is occasionally done in the offshore industry.

Ry (1.1~1.6) can be found in
AISC 341-05 TABLE I-6-1
Thanks for everyone.
