What is it called when two gear racks mesh together at a right angle?

Say you have two gear racks, both with teeth slanted at 45 degrees, mesh them together at right angles, and constrain each to only move linearly along their lengths. Now motion of one transmits into perpendicular motion of the other.

What is that called?

I'm trying to look up more on the theory and practice of doing this, and turning up nothing. Surely just because I don't know what to search for, though, and not because it's never done.

We call those bevel gears. They can be straight bevel or helical bevel.
