What is Surface Develop in Catia V5.

Kindly let me know, What is the real time use of Develop feature of Generative shape Design.
I am able to create it but could`t see any application where it will be very useful.

One more thing, what is the main difference between Develop-Develop and Develop-Project?

Why develop is limited to revolved surfaces?

Our IBM rep says that a Develop for complex surfaces will probably be in R11 in a few months.
